Ive Always enjoyed your Posts.
Im in southwest Ohio.
I get 25%/75% still quite a few wheats.
I mainly pull from a small town off a coin counter.
Then I pick up boxes and there around the same starting to get more zinc in the boxes though.
How many years do you think till all the copper will be picked out?
Ive Ran 45,500 pennies so far on my Ryedale.whats your total im currious you said you have had it awhile and read you have multiple tons of pennies.

CC, I wish I could get some coins off a coin counter.. they don't really have many of those in banks out here in CA. The majority of my coins come in bank wrapped rolls. I have had my Ryedale since March. I usually average between 20 and 40 boxes a week, but rarely over 100. When I try to step it up to the next level getting rid of all that zinc becomes a problem. So I estimate I have done about 2.1 million cents with my Ryedale. Awesome machine! Before that I used a digital scale.. but the pace was much slower.. LOL. A large part of my hoard is BU rolls that I have just had sitting in the back storage room for several years. I think it will probably only be another year or 2 before it becomes increasingly challenging for us to get copper out of circulation.
If your percentages are low.. just sort more.

most of the banks here have coin counters that will sale the bag to you rather then ship them back to the fed.
Thats alot of pennys you have gone threw.
I also Search alot of Halfs, Ive Pulled 1000+ silver halfs out in the past few months.
I bought my Ryedale with silver halfs.
I also Just got a job at a bank :) I love it its so easy and I get to search money all day!!

Hi Guys hehe..
Penny4mythoughts....Ive Searched threw about 50k in halfs this year so far. if not more. I never kept track...
But I was doing on average 6 boxes a week. 500 a box.
