What else can I say?......shelves in India and China are bared of sugar.

This year India will be importing 3 millions tons and , the US, Mexico..........and so on will also be importing more sugar.

Thailand, the biggest sugar producer, will short this year by 7.5 millions tons.

Prices going up.

And now you know why I have 600 lbs of sugar in stock :)

I'm storing honey for my personal use and sugar for barter. Honey stores a lot longer and is a more healthful alternative to sugar.

Well Nick, I was born in a sugar mill in Cuba, what else can I say... April 2 I'll 70 and I never get sick but for a cold, about once every six or seven years.

My blood preassure has always been around 165/120 but lately it has gone as high as 220/142..... that machine of mine must be broken, three days ago I started to take some natural pill for it, the one that contains Garlic.

So, if one day you don't see me around here being a pain in the ass is because I bought the farm, I refuse to take the prescription blood preassure pills..... they make me sick.

Valhalla here I come......hahahahahahahhaah.

Take care of yourself and watch that bp Ponce, and put me in the will, I could use your TP rolls!

Edit: If the sugar itself issn't enough, the hard candy you could make would be a HUGE moral booster and sought after item!

Valhalla? Now he's a Viking!

Soft commodities (farm products) are in increasing demand & are a favored investment. Having a farm and growing your own is food in your stomach, a barter product to those without, and/or money in your pocket now.

I'm willing to add drinking hibiscus flower tea (or teas with hibiscus as the primary ingredient) as an item to lower your blood pressure. Without the side effects ofthe pills. Anything to keep the Saint of Nickels 'round and 'bout.

Kurr-TP rolls?!?! He told me he used rocks! LOL

Loll john......a week ago I started taking "Surper dorless Garlic, with Hawthorn Extract and Cayenned" in capsule form.....I am going to wait another week before taking my blood preassure once again, about three weeks ago I went to the clinic to have it done when my blood preassure machine was showing over 200, theirs was showing 175/127 which is still high..... will see.

By the way, I do have about 175 envelopes with different seeds and I do have the machine and the land to do something with them........what? I have no idea so that "Farmer Ponce" is one of the names that I will have to declined hahahahahahahah.

Perhaps you should avoid taking your BP immediately after writing one of your posts. My advice is to sit quietly in a chair for 5 mins while day dreaming of nickels, and then take your BP.

Seriously if the garlic pills don't work there are a number of new meds which have little or no side effects that you really should consider. I had to try a few prescriptions myself before I found one that would work for me. After all, I look forward to reading your posts when the nickel is selling at 10 X face.

I really don't worry to much about death because him and I are old friends, all that I am doing in order to survive for WTSHTF is as a challenge and not because of the living thing. besides I have been clinically dead three time.....at 16 a friend hit me with a baseball bat by accident, at 22 in the Congo because of a land mine and at 27 on the operating table because of a motorcycle accident...........BOOOOOOOOOOOOO this is the ghost of Pone.......hayyyyyyy now I have another name.......Ghost Ponce Oi Vey Oi Vey.

Hahahahahahaha what is the use of posting if you cannot post what you think and feel? one good thing abaout be is that I always make the best with what I have because the real world in not out there but in your mind......at one time a shell camper in the back of my small pick up was my home for almost a year and I did just fine because I spent my time in the library, beach, health club, movies, park and so on..........with $1,000 or $10,00 in my pocket to me is all the same because I never spend the whole thing.

Always remember this........no matter how bad off you are, there is always someone else worse off than you.

I have been around a few times and I have seen a lot......glad to be who I am.

A good way to get free honey is to ask for some every time you go through a McDonalds drive-thru. They usually give you 1-2 things of it. Might not be much but it is free.

Don't ever mention McDonald's and food preps in the same sentence. Ever. Not even as a joke. There is nothing even closely resembling food at Mickey D's.

Take a look at their non-biodegradable french fries:

I hope you didn't get your 1,780 rolls of toilet paper from McDonald's!

Well Nick "God help those who help themselves".....

It is my experience that.......when I have a lot of something I splurge to no end and I am very kind to everyone.....but......when out of 500 of something I only have three left then I say to mayself "Why did I have to give away 150 of those?".....so that not only will they have none but......neither will I.

In the army we used to have an unspoken rule...if you asked someone for a cigarette and he offers you his pack and there is only one left in the pack we would not take it, and what was going on?, simple, they would carry a pack with only one ciagrette in their pocket and a full pack in the blouse of their pants.

First time that I went to Cuba back in 1996 I took tons of medecine for everything that I could think of, it was then that a lady from next door came to see if we had an aspiring to give her because she had a tooth ache......my dad's wife told her that we didn't have any but I knew that we had two bottle with 2,000 aspiring per bottle........I told her "Wait a minute, I did bring some aspirin" and then I went to get a few for this lady... my dad's new wife became really, really, REALLY angry and told me "You don't know the situation here in Cuba, now anytime that she needs something she will be coming here", so that I came up with the following "Need creates greed"... Ponce...something to think about.

So that my point to all this is.......why feed everyone for one week when I can feed myself for seven years?......is not greed but need, specially when I use my money to get ready for what we all knew that was going to happen.
