Poll Question:
Silver spot is $15.15
Gold spot is $1065.00

What are your thoughts of the PM markets now?

Are you:

Choices:

buying silver, but NOT gold?
buying silver AND gold?
buying gold, but NOT silver?
selling gold OR silver?
buying when price goes lower?
buying when price begin to rise again?
buying whenever funds are free?
not buying anytime soon? (please explain)

I love silver and been buying all I can afford for the past 4 years. My short term goal is 200 pounds before I'm fifty and I'm more than halfway there with 6 years to go.

My business is buying and selling. Lately, it has been net purchases. I don't know where price is going to go, and as a business, it doesn't matter much.

Personally, however, I've been buying mostly silver and only some gold. The majority of which was done today around 2:00 and the purchase was paper PM's. I got lucky

I bought silver earlier this week and more today. If it goes up next week I'll probably buy more, if it goes down next week I'll absolutely buy more. Buy buying regularly and whenever I have extra money, I end up getting close to the market average price for the year. With the silver/gold ratio at 70:1 I'm going to stick with silver. I'm not worried about the price today or next week, only where it will bee several years down the road when my stack is a lot bigger.

I saw silver at 14.75 and went to apmex was going to buy some 90% but only had enough money in bank for a $500 fv bag (and they were sold out or just put on hold because of price dropping). Monday I will move some money around (dump banks getting to high) and get a $1000 fv bag if the price goes back down.

at 14.75 vrs 15.15 for a $1000fv bag $286 savings.. I hate to say this but (needing/able to buy more) I hope monday AM sees the price drop to bottom.

Selling Ryedale sorted USA cents
1.5 each + shipping over 500fv 1.5 each +1/2 shipping
If you pick up 1.35 each
located MT/ND boarder.
after Ryedale sorting they are hand sorted to remove canadian then rechecked with Ryedale to insure all copper and count out $50 FV then placed in cloth bags and sealed with #1 copper wire.

Price doesn't matter too much below $16.00 I DCA, its way too hard to call a bottom, I bought at $16.00 and $15.50, Once we start getting too much lower higher premiums will kick in most likely so whether its $16.00 silver and 99c premium or $12.00 silver and $4.00 premium its not much different.

I do not buy gold anymore when ration is 65:1 or more. Its all silver all the time... Well and a little PD...

PD is at a great price right now!!!

all I could afford was a roll of 2010 eagles while silver was at $15.46. Cost me $18.06 each... but APMEX tacked on an extra $10 shipping and "handling" if you use a credit card, which I had to. Oober's right about the premiums. Dakota, hope you're able to source some silver now that you hit your price level

Hoard now and hold on!

I got a CD set to roll over next week.
The new rate for "preferred customers" is 0.71% APR as of last Friday.
(They'd jump up to .87% APR if it was over $100K, what a deal!)
I'm going to cash mine in and take a drive over to the NWT mint to purchase Ag.
I'm wiling to bet Ag just might return a little higher than 0.71%APR this time next year!

I buy what I can when I can. Only have an extra $100 to $200 every time. I also bought silver last week at $16. I bought 8 1964 halfs. The local coin guy I buy at let me pick through all he had. I got some very beautiful halfs. I am not a grader but they are not circulated. They looked perfect. he had more in this not circulated condition but only had enough cash for 8. He charged me $6.00 cash per coin. so my total cash payment was $48. Then Yesturday, I went back to the same store. Silver at $15.20. He is an antique dealer that recently started selling silver old coins and some ASE's. I asked him how much for his ASE's if i paid cash. He said $18. "Tax Included" . I thought I would ask what dates he had. Trying to get the 1996 Eagle. He said "I think that is the rare one" I have to sell that one for $40, but all the others I have, I will sell for $18. So I got (1) 1994, (2) 1995, and (1) 1997, (2) 2008. I purchased a total of 6 ASE's. Some Rare Dates. I was happy with that. He said " someone just called and said he would buy the rest of my eagles. He is on his way now" so i guess i got there in time. :-)

Silver Bugs.... Keep Stackin'!
