I bought the gold because the guy misspoke the price and later realized his mistake. He honored his quote. I didn’t know he misspoke either. He spit out the price and I put down cash in seconds. The Australian stuff has a premium too (when it comes from the mint direct).

All the silver that was not Morgans, came from one booth. The coin guy was selling another guys inherited stuff. The owner of the silver was the coin guy’s friend and they were both there. The sold everything for the price that it was purchased years ago still with very old price stickers. Sold for spot or less (mostly) that was once a premium for fancy sets. Got all the extra non-silver coins. Still, it's odd stuff that should be sold on &^%& by someone who the patience for it. I will pass it on to my kids if possible. Who knows, I enjoy it and the sets mostly came with the original paperwork describing the coins pedigree. It’s the problem of the collector that likes bullion.

I did see pre-33 uncirculated 20 dollar gold (not bad but maybe MS 55-60) for 1300, a very attractive price. I saw 1924’s and a 1908 at that price. This was for Saint-Gaudens .
