I think that the Silver dip has hit bottom and will be going back up next week. I think that it will reach $19.25 before we see a major dip again.

I consider a major dip to be more than $1.00 in one week.

I don't like the feel of this correction. My gut tells me it's gonna be a nasty one. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't think I have ever heard you say that before Country, could you try to explain why in layman s terms? You, as many others here, have much more knowledge and experience than someone like I.

I just checked, it's dropped to 16.97 now, not a bad thing to me as I do not NEED to sell at the moment, but would like to understand what is going on around me.

When the Wall Street boys panic, the dollar goes up in value as they raise CASH and convert their holdings to dollars. Consequently, everything else gets liquified in their wake. I'm a little apprehensive that we are approaching another one of those periods of financial disintigration. I will not be selling even one ounce of my SILVER, but I just think a gut check is around the corner once again. If it occurs, SILVER will lead the parade to lower levels. Even the ebullience of the Palladium ETF seemed to metamorphasize into fear and panic today.

There is a short-term dollar rally underway for maybe a few months, and I think silver prices have some more downside potential to test long-term support before they go higher later in the year. So you may wish to wait a little longer on any big purchases IMHO... that is my plan at least.

I agree and see a great buying opportunity now and also think it will drop a bit more before returning.

Not going to pay over $20 for new SAE's, that's for sure.

Just over a year ago silver was under $10.

I am in for the long haul and would buy at $16-$17-$18 today. In a couple years, the economy will have to pay for the massive load it has made to itself. You can't pay off credit cards with other credit cards which are paid off with yet more credit cards without it catching up.

Fiat is a joke.

The corpse is standing up on high voltage drugs (printed money)

Although silver may not skyrocket, it will have real value.

Then again...to the moon!

I brought 60 2010 silver eagles today so I will have to wait and see if silver will go down Monday. That would be normal.

OMG!!! If Country is turning "bearish" on silver, is there any hope for us?

They do have some nice gold coins. They do take the US dollar plus their own coins. When I was there you could had a person killed for 10 dollars so you can quess what gold and silver is worth today.
