Working 3rd shift, i decide to buy a drink. What do I see when the till opens? An IH. I always check the till and I have found a good number of wheats, a war nickel, a silver dime and silver quarter. So now I have found something good in every coin denomination in the till.
Now if someone will leave a silver half and silver dollar for me to find.

who's till? the register's where you were buying the drink?
How do you ask for it: "hey I think I see an old coin there, can I buy it from you?" |

I work for a grocery chain. We are closed, they leave a till for the stockers. I am the 3rd shift manager, so I have the password.

| I would love to work again in a place that deals in high volumes of change all the time, either as a cashier or bank teller type position and find all sorts of goodies! I worked in Mickey D's in high school and only kept a few wheaties and bicentenial quarters that crossed through my drawer. I wish I had known then what I know now about coinage and all the different things to look for. |

I thought about checking into a job for Coinstar. Any experience on the employment side with them? |

daviscfad, the till at work has been giving up some nice stuff. IH cent & wheats, several war nickels, a few silver dimes , 2 ( I think ) silver quarters , and a 40% half.
Nothing like making a little extra profit on your lunch break.

Nice finds man. I'm not sure how I missed this when it was first posted in January.
Deal |
Live free or die. Plain and simple.
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |
