Thanks.

The date does look funny, but I would need a different lighting or angle to say. I can't make out any Doubling, but it's just that the photo is hard to make out clearly. I'm suprised you got it this much of a closeup though. It's good, But it will take something more to see it better.

i see that 'liberty double' all the time when I have the light on the coin just wrong, in reality it is a combination of reflection and shadow(or at least that is the normal situation in my sorting experience).

Better picture needed for determination on this coin though.

I note that it is the less common "small date" variety of the 1960D penny.

The top of the nine is lower than the top of the one. The more common large date version has the nine, equal to or slightly higher than the one.

I had the same problem posting a nickel with an overstamped first five in a 1955D Jefferson. (posted in the 2010 coins)

I can't tell from these pics if it's a DDO or not but it does appear to have a die chip in the 6

After examining several 1960 SD Lincoln Cents, I have noticed that all of them have slight doubling on both the 9 and 6 in the date. Those apparently are normal.

There is a large/small date variety. If it looks like the one in the link, you got a good one.

The date looks like a cud. The liberty does look like it could be doubled. But the quality of the photo leaves a lot to be desired...

I can't quite tell, but upon closer observation, you will be able to interpret whatever happened to that penny.
