There's lots of survival info on input (food, water, energy) but how about output: going to the loo if the system is down? And trash in general, if the trucks stop coming. Trash accumulation and waste creates a pretty dangerous environment. If you don't have a lot of land, it could be a problem, yes? Wondering what solutions people have, especially urban/suburban. Also, some different scenarios. What if you were pretty much confined to your house due to an epidemic or bio/chem/nuke hazard?

Someone always gets left holding the bag.
Good topic to think about.Everyone is still going to be human if TSHTF It is a reality most won't want to face,might push people over the edge if confined. Never seen this topic discussed before,thanks for giving me something else to worry about :) Lots of mouths to feed,lots of cleaning indeed!

That is why I really wouldn't want to stay in the cities. I would do everything I could to get out in the country/farm area. Mom owns some land, some cousins too. Problem from where I live is one tank of gas wouldn't get me there! |
