I have a good problem, I think. Yesterday I picked up 8 boxes of halves. It appears that two of the boxes are full of 2000-P BU halves.
Most of the Brinks rolls in these two boxes show a BU 2000-P coin on both ends. A few rolls do not. When opening some of these I realized that, on average, 2 of the 20 coins are not 2000-P but something else.
Some rolls like these are showing up in the other boxes as well. I am confident that I have well over 2500 of these coins.
What do I do with these? Try to sell them as is? Try to sell individual rolls? Sell individual coins? Sell a whole box? Open every roll to verify they are all 2000-P BU? Don’t remove the Brinks wrappers? Should I just dump them back into the abyss?
Yes, I will post to the Official 2010 Half Dollars and Other Coins thread once I sort through all the boxes. Only one box with any silver, so far.

Dump them, not worth anything more than face. |

Keep a couple rolls for yourself. Dump all the rest at your dump bank. There really isn't any market for these.
Last year I found four $500 Brink's boxes of BU 1995-Ds. These were solid BU 1995-D rolls. I kept $200 worth (I only have $20 left as of today of these), mailed a $500 box to Hoard at face value, and dumped the rest at my dump banks. |

Check for any errors, keep a few if you like them. They are currently worth 2 each for a Federal Reserve Note. They may be cheaper (and work better) than steel fender/spacer washers soon, but you'd have to drill your own center hole. |

got two boxes of 1998's myself and saved a few and let them go.
Go to a coin show and try and see how many you can sell for a small mark up.
Ebay?
