She is the head teller at my source bank for bagged pennies, dimes and halves. I live 100 miles away, but she would always call me if she had anything good. I go that way for work at least every other work and she would hold anything that I wanted until I could get there.

I need to get back there with some jars of honey for the tellers as a Christmas gift. I would hate to loose such a good deal.

I have had that happen also. I have had tellers that will give me bags and boxes and do everything possible to accommodate me then they get promoted or retire and everything goes to heck, the new teller then says "oh I'm sorry we can't sell you those bags or order you any boxes". Hopefully you worked with some of the other teller once in awhile so they recognize you and know the kind of things you were purchasing and taking out of the bank, so you can break in a new one. And yes a box of chocolates once in awhile does wonders.

COPPER - the "poormans" precious metal!!!

I think that I'm good. I have worked with several of the other tellers. They let me go into the vault and bring out my own bags. Also, I believe that I save them money by taking the bags off of their hands.

Any bank with safe deposit boxes allows customers in the vault, so what is the difference?

The REAL vault. The one with the money, not locked mini-boxes. I'm allowed vault/money room access in two of my credit unions, (diferent credit unions as well). The vault is cool, but the cash room or whtever is awesome. It might just be plain 'ole cash, but it sure looks pretty all stacked up.

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Knibloe,
Think we might be acquiring coin at some of the same banks. Think I know who you are referring to. Is there a prison in this town?
