I picked up some canadian dimes from a girl I work with yeasterday. There were 9 total 1 1912 and 2 40's and 2 50's, 3 1968 and 1 1971. I know the ones that have silver in them, the 3 1968 are my question. Is there any way you can tell a 50% 1968 silver dime from a .99 nickel dime. I thought I would ask before I toss them in the bag with my other Canadian quarters and dimes.

The magnetic test is the simplest way to tell.
Silver 1968 dimes will not stick to a magnet, but nickel 1968 dimes will stick to a magnet.
