I found a source of 40% silver halves Kennedy 1965-1970 at face value. I would go into the local casino in Michigan, and would put a $20 bill in a 50 cent slot machine and then cash out. I would usually get one and sometimes two 40% silver halves in the payout. I'd then take the remaining coins to the change counters and redeem them. I'd repeat this several times in different slot machines. I could leave with several halves each night. Each halve worth $1.51 at today's silver prices. I left a winner every time. I know some casinos use tokens, but if you have the right casino near where you live, you are of age, and you have willpower it may be a great option for increasing your silver inventory at no cost.
