Hi, I bought a USA Funds Coin at a yardsale today.
One side has Garfield the cat
The reverse side has:
USA FUNDS 25 years Supporting Arizona Higher Education
It is heavy like it would be silver and is tarnished but I wasn't really sure. I picked it up for 10 cents so I figured I would take a chance. Can anyone help me on this one? Thanks

I took it to my local coin dealer and it turns out it was an ounce of silver. Not bad for a 10 cent investment :) Of course, I kept it and did'nt sell it.

He felt the weight of it and then he let it bounce of the counter and you could hear a ring. I could tell by the weight of it that it was probably silver.
My mom told me she guessed it was silver because of the 25th year anniversary being the silver anniversary |
