I thought there was already a thread on cooking with a crock pot, but apparently there isn't. So I'll go ahead and start with this link:

My crock pot is just starting to get used, but it's slowly becoming the backbone of my cooking. I don't have a fireplace to be able to cook in a cast-iron pot over fire, so this will do for now.

love crock pot cooking. got two when i got married. made a lot of meals with them when both dh and i were actually working full time.

We had ribs in a crockpot yesterday...I thought my wife was crazy for trying this, but they came out perfect. Fell right off the bone!
