Hi,
I was at the bank today picking up my nickel order. They forgot to order my nickels so the teller was selling me nickels that were brought in by a customer.
One roll was a U.S. Mint 2005 D Westward Series Nickel Roll
I asked her where she got it and she said that a woman brought in a bunch of uncirculated coins in original wrappers.
She also sold me 11 rolls of $6.25 rolls of AZ State Quarters. The wrappers state Restricted for Arizona Residents Only Brilliant never Circulated Arizona State Quarters Denver Mint.
I had a couple questions
1. Is there any value to the nickel roll and to these quarter rolls
2. Why would a quarter wrapper state that they are restricted to AZ residents only?

As a freebee, she also gave me a little blue velvet bag that said "World Reserve Certified Monetary Exchange" with an eagle in the middle.
She said the woman gave it to her when she dropped off the coins. |

1. the nickels will have more value only b.c of the wrapping. I am sure the quarters are the same deal.

could you clarify on the $6.25 rolls of quarters? Usually quarter are in rolls of $10.
Any chance of a picture?
It actually sounds like it could be one of those newspaper marketing gimmics. They re-roll, repackage and resell the quarters in AZ as if they are super special and can only be sold to arizona residents.
Either way, a cool find! |
