I think this is a good idea, we can 1. Get statistical info (regionally) 2. Teach statistics to students 3. Make other people do some of the work for us! 4. Spread the message of hoarding copper.
I want to write a page to propose a stastics lesson/excercise. This works for stats classes, math classes, analytical chemistry...etc.
it'll be something like this " *Every student goes to the bank and brings $5 worth of pennies to class. *They report the bank name * Count pre-1983 vs post 1982. * everybody shares the data * calculate Standard deviation, average, ....etc. * Send the proposal person (or group or organization) the data * If interested, sell the copper to us!
