I ran into a 1999 D while sorting that I couldn't get thru the coin counter. It was in great shape and real shiny. Couldn't figure out why it wouldn't go thru. Looked closely and the penny was at least 1/16 inch bigger than all other pennies. Its edge is rounded ) instead of straight ] and has some lines like on a dime on its side but not as deep. No damage to penny.
Has any ran into this before, this is the first time I've ran into a Big penny.
I have a 1993 D penny that is thicker than a regular penny and has a rounded and smooth edge. I am also wondering if it is an error and what it might be worth.
