I was just wondering what a typical, non-key date, wheat penny sells for?

4 cents including shipping is a good basis point. I generally buy all I see at that level, although I'm not buying now. But at 4 cents each including shipping you will eventually find a buyer.
Under 4 cents the number of buyers greatly increases with each 0.1 cent reduction.
Over 4 cents the number of buyers greatly decreases with each 0.1 cent increase. |

Searched or "Unsearched?"
Maybe somebody should offer to sell Barry a bag for $150. I think he is about right on pricing. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

You can get all you want at that price. You just have to "sort more!" |

And, to me, that is absolutely the most enjoyable way to increase my wheat count!!!
One of the last rolls I have gone through so far in the large old roll lot I got at the bank and am slowly working my way through contained SIXTEEN decent wheat pennies and one that was damaged. The damaged one looks to be about the thickness of a normal penny; however, I believe it to be two wheat cents glued together. I can't seem to get them apart, though. One side is a 1952 D and the other side shows a 1952 S. That part upset me as I rarely find any S wheats.
Enjoy. |

Even if it is 100% 40s and 50s you can easily get 4 cents each with hardly any effort. Less buyers but still some out there all the time on eBay, etc. |
