New halves won't be available until next week so....

I tried to get machine rolled dimes but no go today.

I scored a box of nickels from a reluctant head teller at business bank #2 (my business) but had not ordered them, just Jonesing. I asked if I could get a penny and dime box but she said no. The nickels were something unusual I could tell from the holes. All toned and newish. Turned out to be a new box of 2006P's and I will have to keep them. I like! But nothing to search.

Another bank that started charging fees for orders let me have a box of pennies and nickels.

I also scrounged $200 CWR dimes plus another $100 CWR nickels and short of $25 CWR pennies. That should hold me through the weekend.

Now for silver.

I found that when I dumped $1500 today a teller had a bag of Eisenhowers. I went back to base and put them with the couple thousand of those I am gathering to put a collection together this winter where I sort and pick the best for albums. I made large trays and lined up the new ones and one edge reminded me of edge hunting halves. Sure enough one was a worn proof. Free third of an ounce!Have to edge search the rest now.

I hit my silver shop and my guy sells me two sweet peace 22's for $25 and 13 mixed ounce coins for $202 which included 6 SAE's, some painted and some with goo easily removed with acetone plus a few Prospectors and Onza's with light tarnish plus a cool local bank round in perfect shape. He was in a good mood and had just picked up a rare gold coin at below spot. Have to remember that.

With the amazing box this week having 31 Franklins, 1 Walker and 29 64's plus 14 40%er's I total 39 new ounces for the week.

I also got some of those neat coins from Brasil plus the normal load of foreign.

I layed up a large new jar of coppers, two tubes of wheaties with a 1911 and a fair bit of pre 60 nickels plus 7 war nics and a nice 37 buf.

Two more steel cents plus odds and ends.

What a great week. Lots of ammo came in too (200 rds/ten boxes varmint .204 plus two 50's of .357)

Big add to the stash week.

Not sure if I want silver to go up yet. When it does, it does.

Keep us posted on the rest of the Ikes...I'm thinking about trying them now.

Great week indeed!
