Picked up a VF 1909 S for $110. Only three Lincolns left, none of which I can afford Maybe I'll find one in a bank roll.

Heck, I still need to find a penny board so I can dig thru my box and start plugging them in. I'm curious to see how many will be filled. AG - where'd you pick up that coin?

Hoard now and hold on!

Got it at a bid-board auction at a coin store. I also got an F 1854 half dime for $14 that books for $40. A good day for sure!

Congrats on the purchase of the VF 1909 S and the half dime! Good purchases! Seems to me you got a specially nice and desirable Lincoln at a great price.

Let me guess ... you still are looking for a 1909 SVDB, a 1914 D, a 1922 plain, and possibly a 1955 P DD? . Hope you get them! (or whatever you need) .... somewhere out there in a penny roll or a box or a bag, I'm positive those coins are waiting to be found

Sounds like a great day! Congrats on getting the coins. I found one in some wheat pennies I bought for pretty cheap. It was in a pretty rough condition, but I got it for cheap.

Thanks!
Hmm, I wasn't counting the DD, 1922 plain, or any other error varieties. I think I only need a 1909 SVDB, 1914D, and 1931S to complete a type set. I'll worry about varieties later.

Good buy. Missing the '09 S V.D.B. and '22 plain only for my type set.

Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Good going on that purchase.

I wish you and the others much luck in finding the pennies you need at face value!!! That would be awesome.

Success, everyone.
