Stopped off at one of my dump banks at lunch time today to do a small dump. Only took in 8 boxes, 'cause that way I don't have to use one of my carts. They were actually happy to see me. They were all out of pennies and were very happy to get 8 freshly rolled boxes.

When I stop by there again later this week they will probably swap me whatever boxes they get from the coin service for however many boxes I bring in.

It's nice to see them smile when you are bringing in a few boxes of pennies.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

I also have a good dump bank. They let me know when they are going to ship coins back to the Fed. so that I can bring the coins back to be shipped.

NONE of the banks in my area will accept my machine wrapped rolls. They all have to take the rolls back to the coin counter and break each one open and run them through the counter. So they would rather see me bring my pennies back in bags rather than rolled. But that's o.k. with me it saves me the time and cost of rolling them up.

COPPER - the "poormans" precious metal!!!

SELLING - $100.00 face copper shipped to you for $189.00 machine rolled or bagged - PM me if your interested.

I can attest to that!
Banks buy Hoards rolls for that reason alone!

I still have the choice to dump loose in the machines, or loose in bags(that the bank supplies)

HCBTT, you need to take a trip to the East to see how a REAL penny hoarder does things

I dumped about $750 last week in one drop and try to time it hours before they get their pick up/delivery. Even have a cart they can use. They are happy, I am happy...It is what makes the penny go round.

Yeah I've found only a couple banks are neutral to see me coming. Most are opening repulsed by my hobby. It's largely my own fault, perhaps if i were to just keep smiling and say nothing about where you get the pennies I'd have a better chance.

I wish i could drop $300 plus dollars at one location per dump, that would help me save time & money.

Selling Copper cents. $0 FV available at 1.4xFV. Also interested in trading for wheat pennies and other coins Please pm me for requests or inquiries.

LoL, right now I am having an easier time getting rid of my zincs than coppers. I might have to put sorting on hold for a bit till I can get more capitol. Converted all my "extra" to coppers.

Ya, I found one bank that told me, stop rolling them your wasting your time. Just bring em in here loose!! Now I can't seem to sell em at the "give-away" prices!
boxes is about all I carry freehand as well.

Good on ya Hoard!!

Only one of the six banks I frequent is happy to see me. The rest give me dirty looks.

The one bank that does act polite I bring in candy to once in a while and do all of my major banking with. It pays to be nice!

As far as I know, it is stated "In God We Trust" on the US dollar. How can I trust this currency if I do not believe in God?

Possession is nine-tenths of the law.

When I give my two cents, they're always copper!

It's nice to feel appreciated. I'm sure the bank loves you, HCBTT, for more than just your nice, neatly rolled coins. A nice gift of chocolate on occasion, perhaps???

You're onto my system PreservingThePast. Yes, I bribe with chocolate. And sometimes I even bake cookies.

I'll buy those coppers if they are cheap enough, Kurr. Now that Barry isn't buying any more coins this year, I will have to drop my buy price though.
