I have seen varying prices in different books. I am wondering what wheat pennies of the years 1940-1958 go for? Any suggestions apprecitiated.

If you mean numismatically, depends on the condition. If you mean bulk, around here they're approx 4 cents apiece.

dealers will pay at most 3 cents.

i can get them from my dealer when he has them for 4 cents.

Buying:
Peace/Morgan G+ at $15.00
copper cents at 1.3X
wheat pennies at 3X
