The "Mob Mentality". The last time we had a "major" riot in L.A. this is what happened: You must be logged in to see this link. Basically, the police were scared to go into ghettos or poor neighborhoods. But they cordoned off routes to nicer neighborhoods; Bev. Hills, Palos Verdes, etc.... Business owners were hiring security guards for $800 dollars a day during the LA riot climax. $800 bux a day in 1992!
