In the last two days I have found:

15 dimes in one penny roll-My second best dime count(one time I got a solid roll of dimes in a penny roll:)

108 wheats in one 50 dollar bag

2 steel penny's in one roll and 3 total in one bag

A solid roll of 1973 D uncirculated pennies from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City- Denver Branch. (Which I did not realize and opened like an idiot) Are they worth anything?

Always nice to get something a little different:)

That is a great week to bad we don't get them every week. Then that would bw all that we would do. Forget about work then.

OK, here's 2 interesting finds, one unusual and one potentially valuable, I hope!

The unusual - found a Jamaican dollar from 1995 - about the same size as a cent, flattened edges, not round, silver-colored and maybe a little thicker than a cent. Anyone know it's composition? Maybe nickel??? I know it's only worth about 1.1 cents

The potentially valuable one - a blank copper planchet - absolutely no mint marks, some patina to it, like just some dirt and finger oil, and maybe a few scratches. Anyone have any idea what it's worth? Saw one listing on ebay for one at $99. I know that's what they're "asking" - anybody know what you "get" via a real sale? Just curious - not interested in selling - yet.

Thanks!!!

Most recent book I've read: "Meltdown" by Thomas E. Woods Jr. Current book: "I.O.U.: Why Everyone Owes Everyone & No One Can Pay" by John Lanchester

I found a blank copper plancet this week too. First one I've found in quite a while. Usually when I do find them, they are zinc. They're just trying to cover the high eBay and PayPal fees. I think they are worth about a buck.

I think I will use mine like the blank tile in Scrabble, and plug it in the 1914-D hole.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

Cool Finds! It's A Small World, Afterall...Really! One of the rolls in the huge (for ME) number of rolls I picked up at the bank a week or two ago now had one roll from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Cleveland Ohio and it, too, was a 1973D. However, I did NOT open mine as I figured it would be better to keep it intact. But, I took lots of pictures.

I had wanted to get by the library this week to try to figure out how to post some pictures of this penny lot I am searching now, but unfortunately life once again got in the way of my plans and we were not able to get to the library or even to somewhere else with free high speed wi-fi, except the hospital to visit my husband's brother for just a little while and we brought along the lap top just for his use so he could do what he wanted to online to make him feel a little better.

Everyone else...sounds like there have been some other neat finds of late.

I like the idea of using the blank planchet like a blank Scrabble tile. Sounds like a plan to me!

Continued success to all!
