Not really sure, but I for one wouldn't let any of my 40s and 50s go for less than .05 each. I'm wondering the same thing myself about earlier examples.
I assume you mean wholesale prices. I think it is 6 cents for 30's, 8 for 20's, and 10-12 for teens. S mint cents are about 5 cents or so.
I was asked by a dealer at the show the other day what I was paying for wheats. I happen to know this dealer strips all the S cents and pre40's out of the bags.. leaving what I call a cleaned bag of 40's and 50's P&D's.. just what everyone wants.. lol. I offered 3.2 cents each and he scoffed at my offer. He said the big wholesale buyers come up periodically and pay $229 a bag. I told him he will just have to wait for them to make a trip up then.. lol. I don't know where they are selling them if they can afford to buy them at that rate.
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
