Ok Guys and Gals I get to join the club.....during the tenth box I found a renegade...1880 INDIAN HEAD cent..also found a Bahama penny and 5 LP3's in the same roll. My first loose LP3's. 15 wheats from the same box....oldest 1916(my second) and a 1927 in almost fine condition. These cents were in the clear plastic sleeves. WOOHOO!
Fasteddy...Congratulations to you on the IH penny. And, for the LP3s.
yesterday I picked up 40 CWR's from a BoA while doing some depositing....last night I sorted...did fairly well at 20% Cu, 6 wheats (3)46's, 51, (2) 56's, 3 Canucks 41, 64, 67, & 3 clad dimes. I ended up with 2320 coins total...I weigh the zincs so I know how much is going back to the bank. I was thinking the rolls were fat....some the ends would not nearly close. Thats is an average of 58 coins per roll! When the teller was putting the rolls in my pennie box she was standing them vertically now I know why...the pennie rolls would not fit horizontally! -SWEET
Went back to the bank with the fat CWR's no luck...got one box o pennies though....maybe that will work out. My CU has four branches with coin counters...only the furthest branch has a working counter....anyway checked the coin return and got a handful of fuzz/lint/staples and all around nasty stuff with 7 foreign coins.... Canuck dimes, Honduras ? and one large penny I don't know where from. Different.
found a BoA off of the beaten path....went in Friday to see if they had any CWR's...got 10 from one teller and 42 CWR's from another....the ten was about the same 17% Cu...but the 42 rolls were something else...about 10% Zincs...majority of the Cu pennies were 59's through 64's with many of the 64's bright and shiny.-SWEET
