A CWI box picked up today from a bank that Loomis services produced a very inbred box.
20 of the rolls (not shown), were LP-3, D's. 7 yellowed rolls are solid 1980 D's, 2 brown rolls are solid LP-1, D's and the balance are standard mixed date rolls!
Did you open any to make sure they were "pure" rolls?
That gives me hope if they still have BU rolls that go back to 1980 at the fed/whoever place!
The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts. Hag 2:8 [/b] He created it. He controls it. He gave it to us for His use. Why did we turn from sound scriptural currency that PROTECTS us?
Even more intriguing to me is the way the roll wrappers are. I just don't see them like that here in Central Florida. I assume that even the brown or yellowish rolls are the type that you have to tear apart and are not reusable???
TXTim...Thanks for this post, I remembered and it served me well. This morning as we were pulling up to the grocery store I saw a Loomis truck and knew that they did NOT service either my bank or C/U. So, when my husband went inside to get a few items I asked that he stop at the customer service desk and see if he could get a couple of rolls of pennies. He was able to and they were the white rolls like in your picture.
These are the first two rolls of pennies that I have found that are like that. Haven't opened them yet but I did take a picture of the two rolls. Hopefully my eyes will be better tomorrow and I can open them and see what treasure await me!!!
