When do you ever hear about a Republikhan EVER considering raising taxes for any reason? They want to spend our money and fortune just like the Democrats, but the GOP is rarely willing to pay (via taxes on the rich) for what they spend these days.

Why raise taxes when you can cut SPENDING? I know many people who have recently chosen to spend less and reduce their debt- novel concept

The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; second is war. Both bring a temporary (and false) prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunities.
