I took a 3 month break from my coin/bullion collecting and so I'm having fun sorting some of my unsorted.

Anyway, I got to one of my dollar stashes and realized that other than the big plastic roll-things I don't have any coin rolls for these.

And my banks don't have any either, although they appear confused when I say "big dollars" anyway :)

Are there any paper-dollar wrappers or does everyone just use the plastic ones (i.e. I will have to buy them!)

Good to see you back Barry

Wizard coin supply stock the rolls you are looking for at a decent price.

Tellers always seem confused when I ask for BIG dollars. So I have an IKE (& also a JFK) punched and on my keychain for "show and tell" It works most of the time. My local bank (you know where) used to have a lot of IKE wrappers but I slowly used them up and they have been out for over a year. Now I just wrap in a baggy and rubber band. I think I can get $30 nicely in one bag.

Ask at different banks, you have to be at the right place at the right time to find rolls. One bank I frequently bother for Halves had a customer cashing in $83 Ikes 2 month's ago. (And I got to buy them, one badly beat "S", nothing else exciting.)
It's best to carry one with you when you ask for them so you can show them what you want.
Most banks have the paper wrappers for them if you ask.

There's profit if you melt things!!
