I have lined lined out where i can get halves real easy but i cant seem to find a dump bank. Does anyone have a suggestion. What are some things to look for and what does everyone else do? I just want to turn in two boxes of $500 rolled in a week.

Most places are not going to want a thousand dollars a week in half action. There is no need for half dollars. The only folks that want them in that quantity are those of us looking for silver. Best bet is if you can find a place with a self service coin counter. Then you don't even have to roll them. Credit Unions are the best probability for that.. just start making phone calls. If you do end up finding a dump bank, you might want to consider looking for additional dump banks to spread your action around. If you take them $4000 a month in rolled halves it probably won't be long before you get cut off.

Good advice by HCBTT. Have multiple dump banks and keep track on a spreadsheet or something similar of the dates and amounts you dumped so that you know you are doing a good job of spreading it out. You don't want to take advantage of it because if you do too much, a couple of things could happen:
1) They cut you off
2) They put limits on how much you can do
3) The F word comes into play...fees
I mainly have one source bank for my boxes, but spread out the dumping among 4 main bank branches. Even doing that sometimes I cash in the change, other times I deposit it. Gotta keep them on their toes. |

I have one source bank too. I get $2000 in halves each week from my source bank. I use a different bank for my dumps. I use 9 nearby branches of this bank. Using these 9 branches, I dump about $1500 or so in halves every 6 weeks on average to each of these bank branches. I make sure I dump no more than once a month to each branch. I have a spreadsheet to keep track of my dumps too.
I go one step further. My source bank is a Brinks serviced bank. My dump bank is a Dunbar serviced bank. My dumps will not be returned to me as rewrapped rolls anytime soon. |

| I have an account at each bank. That allows me to bank/dump at any of their branch locations. There's a lot of branch locations, but I use those in my local area. |
