What else would you expect? Republikhans are the party of "NO" and will do most anything to take control of the White House and Congress. But then again, even the Demokrats can't agree on the Health Care plan either.

Rep. Cathy McMorris of Washington state, vice chair of the House Republican Conference, said, the Democratic efforts "a prescription for disaster -- one that will put Washington bureaucrats in charge of your family's personal medical decision."

But we've already got the big insurance companies doing that already. That would be a duplication of effort, wouldn't it?

No is a nice word in MOST cases. This is one of them. Cap and Tax is another. Bailouts are more.
I could go on all day.

I have no problem with government programs IF they are cheaper and more efficient (which is rarely the case). What I take issue with is the lack of individual control and lack of choices when the government is in charge of things.

Republicans are the party of no because every NEARLY every bill that goes through congress is unconstitutional.

Not H.R. 1207 and S. 604 though!

I couldn't help but notice these passages:

Small companies pay proportionately more than big ones because they lack bargaining power and face higher administrative costs, the study found. It said that effectively levied a “heavy tax” on small businesses and their employees.

“Right now, they are getting crushed by skyrocketing health care costs,” Obama said, citing the report.

And this goodie:

A proposal in the House calls for employers with a total payroll above $250,000 to offer health insurance to their workers or face a surtax of as much as 8 percent. A Senate committee version would require all businesses, except those with fewer than 25 employees, to provide health coverage or pay a $750 fine per year for each worker.

Sounds like a GREAT way to lower health care costs.

I can't help but wonder if an "R" was usurper in chief, trying to cram this crap down our throats, would these other "R"s still be crabbing up a storm? Would the "D"s be the ones doing the whining? Sigh...

Too bad the party of no doesn't have more votes. We're in a bad spot if the POTUS gets what he wants from his party of yes. Small businesses can join care groups with other companies to negotiate better rates and coverage plans. The government should not be running car companies, investment banks, health care, et al. I cannot believe people would want health care to be as caring as the IRS, as efficient as the Post Office, and as swift as the DMV, all at Pentagon prices.

Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Not that they didn't do pretty much the same thing the Dems are doing now.
