I got my free nickel from the ebay auction. It looks proof, but it is 1964, but a free nickel is still free. Cost the guy 61 cents to ship plus 5 cents, so i guess my 5 star feedback is worth 66 cents.

Yes they are 99 cents now but he doesn't require you to pay it. I just ordered one, gave him a good rating and mine is supposedly shipped.
I assume why they are 99 cents is to keep you from ordering more than one. |

| They are 99 cents because ebay will not let you put up a multiple item listing for a price below 99 cents. I have not done this yet. I bet they are buying good feedback and putting your name on a mailing list. |

| I think its more of a marketing/advertising gimmick than to falsely inflate the ratings, as this seller already has over 12,000 ratings. Adding more good ratings is secondary I believe. I just "bought" one, I will always take a free coin if anyone wants to give me one! |
