That is the one date that has eluded me. I have found every other one in circulation over the last few years. Maybe I am just not sorting enough nickels.  |

| I would think that coin would be extremely rarely found in change. Yes, it's got a very low mintage. But more than that, it was hoarded from day one by many many people, because they KNEW it had a low mintage from the start. Translation: GREAT FIND!!!!! |

i think it only fair to find one a year. lol. it would be interesting to know if anyone else has found one this year.
i also believe that i am one of the larger sorters on nickels. after giving pennies the back seat this year. last week i finished 20k of nickels. not tooo bad for a hand sorting fool |
