Found a 1994 Jamaican dollar coin in a String roll of pennies. I've never seen a dollar coin so small. I'd hate to see how small their penny is. Has anyone found one in a penny roll?

Yep...that's it. The same size as a penny.
Same color as a dime. Not sure of content. Zinc or aluminum? |

The Jamaican $1 coin is actually nickel-plated steel.
The smallest denominated coin that is still struck is the 10 Cents, which is a tiny copper-plated steel coin.
The Jamaican Dollar is a currency affected by high inflation,as is the Guyanese Dollar.

The couple time I've experienced Jamaica, the Jamaican's would not accept $Ja.
They were disgusted by their own money. This was 10-15 years ago.
Americans may soon have the same attitude. |
