Does anyone here get a subscription to the "Grey Sheet", my step dad used to receive them but hasn't for many years. I don't want to spend that kind of money for a full subscription but thought some of us may pay a few bucks off and on to get a copy.
D@mn I just downloaded it and looked through it! Oh well it had what I need for the coinshow. Could have used the heads up this morning Barry!! At least it had what I need. Thanks Barry at least now I know what I need to have the complete set.
I want the one with indian head and lincoln cents, the one I have is just the short one you are talking of. Wish they gave a better description of what came in each part on their site.
MOVING SALE!!! Selling Copper Cents 1.4 shipped - in limited quantities PM me and we'll talk.
The cost isn't bad if you just needed the information a couple times a year, and the values of coins don't usually change that dramatically in a years time, to buy each and everyone of their selection. I buy all of them once a year, just as I do the RedBook and it suits me just fine.
Is the greysheet the Buy/Wholesale or Sell price for dealers?
Because the red book does a fair job of showing current Sell or prices you would expect to buy from a dealer. Blue book which is your price you shoudl get when selling to a dealer is a little low in my opinion- known as the 'steal' book for prices.

Redbook prices are normally 25% high but sometimes they are way low to way high.
Gery sheet is what the dealers go off of. The ask price is normally around there sell price. The bid price is normally 5-7% higher than what they will buy at. It all really depends on what the coin is and how the particular dealer does it. Either way greysheet is your best bet for pricing.
Could some quickly flip through the grey sheet and tell me what a 1938-S Quarter is worth and if its worth more than silver value as well as its counterparts for that decade? Fine-VF
The 13.75 and free shipping deal is good. I buy it at least once a year, sometimes purchase the pack twice a year. Alot cheaper than a full year subscription.
