I'm getting back up on zinc and was wondering if it would paid for me to check for the wide am's coins. What are the odds on finding them? Thanks

I always check for wams&cams. 1998 & 2000 will be the more common, 1999 would be a real treat to find. 1992 cams are difficult to find, but are still out there. I think the odds of finding a 98 or 00 are real good, 99 only if luck is on your side.

I've been looking for only the 1999 Wide AM for the past five or six months, and haven't come across any.

So long, Realcent 1. Come visit us at Realcent.org!

I'd like to have a set of the three. I haven't found any yet, but I'm a really sporadic sorter. Maybe some day.

I've found 5 1999's and over a roll of each 1998 & 2000. They are out there to find, I live in Maryland but I don't know if location has much to do with it now that they've been in circulation for over 10 years now.

Uthminsta, I have all three available for sale or trade right now, what have you got for trade, any semi-key wheaties?
There are pics of the 1999 in my ecrater store, see link in my signature line if you are interested.

Would prefer to find them... but I will consider it. Don't want to hijack this thread though. Thanks for the offer.

(3) 1999 wams. All of them found within 2 months of each other from my BB@T in Morgantown, WV. Not to far from Maryland.......hummmm. I think you and I mr bman are in a fairly good location.

I also have about a roll or so of mixed 2000 and 1998.

someone should spearhead a tracking post for these things.

I would say your odds are not very good finding a 1999 wide AM but may be better of finding a 1992-D close AM. You never know though, coins travel all over the country. Good luck!

it sounds like 1999s are fairly common compared to finding other coins worth $100 is this true?

Numerous 98's & 00's, no 99's or 92 cams. I will one day, I refuse to quit.

I have found all 3 here in Florida, the 98, 99, & 00. Still on the hunt for the 92 close am. Preserving the past found a nice 99 WAM in Disney this past year, even had it posted in Coneca website. My 99 is corroded to hell and back, mainly just a check out what I found kind of coin, it's not gradeable or would I sell it.

Never found any yet of any date but of course not really looking for them either. Most sell for about $10 at coin shows except the 99 which is going for over $500. Now you got me started so I'm going to start looking for them too.
