No, the rates look low.. especially for some of the better dates like 31-S. Looking at his notes I can tell why also. He uses and recommends "The Blue Book" As far back as I can remember we always referred to the blue book as "The Dealer Steal Book"  |

| I Like PCGS the most even though it takes a while to get use to, and what stuff you need to cut the price in half on, and what stuff you need to dubble the price on. But if you get use to the PCGS price guide it is really helpful. |

| The PCGS price guide is a price guide for PCGS slabbed coins isnt it? So their prices should be slightly higher than the actual market for raw/unslabbed coins. |

yeah it is, you have to get used to how much you take off, but sometimes there G-4 on pennies is really close to the real market.
When they are REALLY fare off is on new coins, they say a MS 2006 penny is worth 6 dollars, i would only pay 1 cent.
But i also like the PCGS price guide because i buy lots of coins slabbed by them |

The page says their quotes are what a stdealer would give you for them. Thats why they're terribly low. |

| This price guide as with any price guide is just that, a guide. Try to remember there is no such thing as a actual price on a coin except it's face value. A cent is a cent and that is what it is worth. However, numerous people make price guides that they want others to follow and they are only guides and basically guesswork. The PCGS guides are based on a slightly to high value similarly to the Red Book. The grey sheet prices are what dealers like to use at coin shows. There are many other price GUIDES out there but they are just guides. A coins value is what your willing to pay for it and/or what someone will buy it from you for. Check out ebay and you'll see many coins selling for more than any price guides. |

| CDN Graysheet is the most accurate place to find the true value of coins in my opinion. Any time you can buy below dealer bid your good or sell above dealer ask your good. |

| True that most dealers like to use the grey sheet. But remember, that is when they are selling you a coin. Now turn around and try selling that same coin to another dealer. That is when you find out what your coin is worth. Anyone can say a coin or any object is worth xxx but it is really only worth what you can sell it for, not buy it for. |
