What would you do if one day you where sorting and you came across a 1943 Copper Penny? PocketChangeLottery.com say that it's worth $200,000.00 dollars. I would buy me two Rydales and start sorting more copper then ever before. I would buy more copper pennies then Hoard Copper By the Ton had in his safe. What would you do?

I think I would keep it till 10 years from now. I would love to sell some thing like that for over 1,000,000.00 dollars. But then if I did sell it I would buy all the silver I needed for it. El Dee thats smart I would buy as much Gold, Silver for the next Greater Depression coming...

i would save it, for a while and wait for it to go up in price, or what id most likely do is certify it, then sell it and buy a bunch of silver, gold, and maybe buy a rare date high grade Morgan.

Slab it, sell it, Give half to the gov't, (against my will) Pay off every bill I have, home repairs.

this weeks numismatic news has an article about a copper 1943s which was sold to a collector on the west coast. he bought it for $72,500. it was found by a 14 yr old in 1944 who kept it till he died. it stayed in his family until now. what gets me is that the 14 yr old took it to a dealer that year (1944) and the dealer offered him $500. for it. the offer was refused. $500 in 1944 was alot of money.

I'd give the first 10 percent to my church, use the next 10 percent to put a down payment on a house, then split the rest evenly between buying silver and planting fruit and nut trees and various edible perennials in my own orchard and in the wild--which I'm doing already, just without the benefit of a 1943 copper penny to help finance things. |
