| I know in Canada all new pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters are all made of steel. Can't speak for any other country though. |

The intrinsic metal value of the circulating Australian 5 cent coin comes close but is is slightly under face value at AUS$0.0415 (if I did my calculations correctly).
My calculations used numbers from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coins_of_the_Australian_dollar http://www.coinflation.com/coins/1946-2007-Jefferson-Nickel-Value.html http://au.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=AUDUSD=X
US$3.9820 = copper price / pound on Apr 11, 2008. .75 = copper % US$12.7822 = nickel price / pound on Apr 11, 2008. .25 = nickel % 2.83 = total mass in grams .00220462262 = pound/gram conversion factor
1. Calculate 75% copper value :
(3.9820 × .00220462262 × 2.83 × .75) = US$0.0186
2. Calculate 25% nickel value :
(12.7822 × .00220462262 × 2.83 × .25) = US$0.0199
3. Add the two together :
$0.0186 + $0.0199 = US$0.0385 = AUS$0.0415

Switzerland still has some circulating coins worth their weight. They're rare, but they do pop up from time to time.
The 1/2, 1, 2, and 5 franc coins were silver until 1967. I don't think these circulate much anymore. If you can find the old rappen coins, those are most likely worth their weight.
There are a few pure nickel coins that still circulate. I got some when I was in Zurich a few years back. Might be the 20 franc coins, if I remember correctly. And amazingly, I did get a 1 rappen coin back at the Forex kiosk.

Yes, but these that are worth their weight are NOT CURRENTLY BEING minted in their respective country.
The question is, IS THE US Nickel the only one that is currently being minted for circulation that has more metal content than face value? |

| Mexico was supposed to be releasing a silver coin for general circulation. It would never work as people would buy them with papper currency and take them out of circulation. Maybe that is what they want. If the silver is only 50% of its face it would be a way to sell silver at double its value. |

The British 1p and 2p from 1971 to 1992 are 97% copper.
That puts them at metal value of 1.5p and 3.0p resepectively. (based on $4/Lb Cu.) |

That's true, but the point of the original poster was to find out what coins are currently being produced whose metal value exceeds face value. |
