I have started storing mine in some "Le Parfait" jars I found around the house.
They hold a lot, but anyone know how likely it is that they might break?

Go old school. Use canvas bags :) 5000 per bag is nice. Double zip ties to seal. Very sweet.

This will sound incredibly stupid, but Sgt York is my all-time favorite movie. When he was saving his money for the bottom land, he wrote every penny down he made on a day-by-day basis. I do the same thing, using index cards. Keep a running total and know to the penny the coppers I have. Mundane indeed, but I dont feel like creating something else on the PC. (Just hope I don,t lose the index cards.)

I am really getting good at barely getting by

When storing, does anyone use desiccant packets? You know, those little things found in packages that absorb moisture? They're pretty cheap and I was thinking that I would like to avoid any slight moisture having a negative effect on my Cu.

I put a couple of packets in my pails of wheats but otherwise I just have a dehumidifier in my basement to keep the humidity down, and so far I haven't had any problems.
