| I like silver eagles best when I can get circulated ones for the same price as rounds or one ounce bars. |

I like having a variety of silver but I like the Amark round because it says Liberty Silver on the reverse:

What about market harmony's poured bars? Those are my favorite. |

You are my new best friend!
I never thought about favorites, but I suppose it would have to be broken into 2 categories for me. I love Morgan dollars as I think that they and perhaps the St Gaudens are the nicest coins ever minted by the US... I don't know, call me crazy
As far as bullion silver goes, my favorite is anything that is as close to spot as I can get as long as I can trust the purity. Bags of sealed shot from a refiner or Apmex are fine with me, and I treat them just the same as a JM or Englehard bar. Gov't issued bullion is meaningless to me, but I do recognize that others may feel differently. Of course, all of this is a far second from MH products |

| I prefer generic .999, but my "favorite" is junk 90 percent silver. I've noticed that there seems to be slightly more of a premium among dealers when it comes to 90 percent, maybe because it's more popular. But most of what I buy now, unless I can get a better deal on 90 percent, is .999. |

1. silver I dig up, 2.any silver coin for face, 3.any sterling for 30% to 50% melt, 4. any Eagles/ rounds/ bars/ etc. under melt I will let you guys fight over the other designs...I agree with coppersnake, an ounce is an ounce, why pay more, because when it really counts, (disaster, barter, financial collapse) it will all be the same, (behind US silver coins) so you who pay a premium to get that oz will fall behind those who pile it up as cheaply as possible! Lemonthrower, what do you want for your "undesireable" 40%s? I will take that burden off your shoulders for sure! |

| junk silver because of the low premiums on ebay, Apmex and the history of it. One can only wonder and imagine who has held these various old coins and spent them over the years, and what was going on in the world at that time. And, oh yeah, the occasional find. Found a 1917 type 1 extra fine standing lib quarter in a roll of washington's off ebay, books at over $100. Also just found an 1859 dime in fair condition in a bag of junk dimes from Apmex. There's a guy on ebay named kingvanilla that sells bags of silver that regularly contain a number of Barber's mixed in with other coins of the same denomination. |
Hoard now and hold on!

| My favorite is whatever 90% or 40% I can get at face from the bank. It yields the highest profits. |

| The last few purchases I've made on Ebay are Mexican Onzas - the ones they minted before the current Libertads. I can't quite explain why, but I like the design. |

I'm a fan of all Mexican silver coinage in addition to Onzas and Libertads... purity and weight are stamped right on there, great reputation, and a variety of weights over the years.
And I figure that I'm striking a blow for my pirate ancestors by continuing to take Spanish silver out of Mexico! |

Not sure how much more Spanish silver is left in Mexico but if you're trying to take all the silver out of there it might take you a bit longer than you thought as Mexico was the 2nd highest producer of silver last year (2008) over 96 million ounces.
