Poll Question:
I'm not sure if this has been done before (or if it should be done now), but I thought it would be interesting to compare our stash to what others have. I was hoping that a poll would be anonymous enough for us to speak freely.

Choices:

less than 100 oz
100 oz to 500 oz
500 oz to 1000 oz
1000 oz to 2500 oz
2500 oz to 5000 oz
over 5000 oz

What about "Not Enough". That's me, although I will never have enough....

Deal

He owned 130 MILLION ounces at one time.

When you say that, do you mean he owned 130 million paper ounces, or actual, physical ounces?

Am I a good person doing bad things? Or a bad person doing good things?

This article implies that he had possession:

With 130 million PHYSICAL ounces, I'd pull a Scrooge McDuck. Swimming in silver baby....

Deal

p.s. Probably pull it off with a measly million ounces. But 130 million and it would be deep enough to dive into, hehe.

he owned physical but got screwed out of it somehow.

the physical he owned may have become the genesis of the ETF.

there is also speculation that he was part of the group that was manipulating the market with derivatives.

he is not the angel he pretends to be.

How can you get screwed out of silver you actually own and possess?

But who or what was stopping him and what gave those parties the authority to stop him from buying more silver? Where did you read this?

Seems like everyone who has taken a stab at major silver ownership (Hunt Bros & Buffet) has been ultimately squashed by TPTB.

Here is the article

http://www.amerigold.com/why_silver/

Famous Billionaires have bought silver in recent years. In 1997, Warren Buffet bought 130 million ounces of real silver, due to the favorable "supply and demand fundamentals", and although he bought as much as they would let him legally buy, his purchase was with about 2% of the value of his portfolio

http://www.silvermonthly.com/162/analyzing-warren-buffetts-investment-in-silver/

Beginning in 1997, the Oracle of Omaha saw the value of silver glinting in the dust of depressed prices. From 1997 until 2006, his investment fund-Berkshire Hathaway-accumulated over 37% of the world’s known silver supply-even more than the COMEX! During that time, he was not only an oracle but also the all-time silver bull.
