| One wild box. It was 95% 2007-Ps but it gave up a 1923 buff with only the 23 readable. |

I found my second Buffalo nickel ever yesterday morning doing a quick search before heading off to the doctor's.
It is a 1937. Alas, it has all four legs. And someone very thoughtfully put some scratches right through the Buffalo, but the date is very legible as is the rest of the wording on the coin.
YIPPEE!!!!!!!
Continued success, everyone. |

| One box gave me two buffalo's tonight. A dateless and a 1935. The box had a ton of 40's and 50's also, including a few low mintage ones. I got 2 1942 D's |

| Its been a long time, but I finally found another buffalo. A 1935 in fair condition. It was a nice box, I got skunked on the first, and found a buffalo and a war nickel in the second. |

Were the 1942 nickels the War Nickels or the regular Jefferson Nickel minted before they did the change over during that year?
Thanks. |

Hello everyone. My name is William. This website has been a great source of information.
I have been collecting coins for two days. I have hand sorted $80 worth of pennies. I am excited to sort through another 2 boxes of pennies tomorrow; Sorting pennies is very enjoyable.
I went to the bank today to get two boxes of pennies. A meek and gentle woman in line next to me had begged my pardon for a nickle. I motioned to place one in her closed hand. She opened her fingers to reveal a 1936 buffalo nickle. "Now I know why I decided to put this buffalo nickle in my pocket this morning.", she said.
It is a pleasure to be here. I am looking forward to sharing the fun of coin collecting with all of you. |

| 1 dateless |
The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; second is war. Both bring a temporary (and false) prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunities. |

After a loooong dry spell, I finally managed to coral 3 buffaloes today. A barely readable '25 and 2 dateless (one has a mint mark). All came out of a single Brinks box.

way to go Bluegill. I picked off two dateless finally!. They're so worn, I can't tell if they ever did have a mintmark. One thing for sure, they both have four legs. |

Corralled another dateless this evening. I think the herd migrated back to MI.
