I found my 3rd Indian of the year. This one is very beat up. The date is completely worn and I can only make out _ _ _ 8 in the date. I can only see the outline of the indian's head. The way I could tell it was definitely an Indian was the outline of the wreath on the back and I could make out the shield.
I assume its pretty worthless but still counts right :-) |

I don't go through to many rolls since I am hand-sorting. However, I did find my second IHC of the year. This one is an 1888 in AG (?) condition .... something on the back kind of messed it up so maybe it only rates as a 'cull'. But the Indian head and the date are very clear.

Its been a while but got one more indian for the tribe.
I have been running zinc accepts thru a second ryedale I got from pennybullion. He had it set up to find old wheats and some indian heads. I don't know how but it works real well. I have ran about a $1000 FV of already sorted zinc. It hasn't paid off greatly but I have gotten a 1918 wheat and a dozen or so copper missed. Yesterday I heard a thud in the accept pile and it was a 1908 Indian head. A lot of work for a couple of coins but may payoff with a high value wheat or IH in the futute.
Plan on setting up ryedales so zinc accepts go directly to second ryedale cup for early wheat and IH remova and save time feeding two ryedales.
Up to 29 IHs this year not too bad.

Whoohoo!!! Finally on the board! I got my first one of the year today! I was almost ready to join TenBears' tribe it had been so long. I knew it was coming soon though, since I scored a plastic penny, a steel, and blank copper plancet in the last 2 weeks.
Coin is the newest one you can find, which puts me on another section of the board. It is a 1909 in F condition. I am really disappointed though. I looked, and I looked, and I looked.. buy I couldn't find the S mintmark. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Let me see if I understand this? If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years hard labor; the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely. If you cross the US border illegally, you get a driver’s license, a social security card, welfare, food stamps, free health care!

| I was sorting pennies today and had a coin stuck in a CWR, I push it out thinking it will be an English One Penny and instead it is just two pennies stuck together that were stuck together slightly offset from one another. Another penny stuck in a roll later in the night. I squeeze it out and...It is a 1896 IH that has a ring around it like it was used for a piece of jewelry:) |
