Spotted my first IH in the wild last night, a 1906. Unfortunately it was in a locked plexiglass charity box so there was nothing I could do. There was a wheat next to it with the date facing down as well. I pointed them out to the cashier so maybe someone will rescue them, but in retrospect maybe I should have asked him to check if there were any other goodies in the till.

Got my 3rd IH. This one is nothing to brag about though as it looks like it went through a garbage disposal as it hardly looks like a penny. Since it was so beat up I cleaned it with the vinegar/salt solution and although it's shiny clean I would be hard pressed to read a firm date. It appears to be a 18?? so I'll just leave it at that and keep looking.

You're kidding, right?

Found a real ugly one for the tribe. Thought it was a foreign coin till I looked closely and it was a beat up corroded Indian. Only thing I can read on date is 18??. Its also really thin.

Found a 1904 in the Ryedale discriminator that Pennybullion sent me, but that one doesn't count. Thanks Pennybullion for the IH in the deal.

Found an 1883 a few days ago. 3rd one in the last couple months.

I wonder why there was an Indian Head used in the Ryedale?

Found my first IH in the 'wild'. A very clean, no corrosion or problems of any kind coin, but very common date - 1901. I have been handsorting for about 6-8 months.

I still think that 1914 D is out there somewhere waiting for me to pick up the roll its in

Found my 3rd IH. A 1888. It's in less than good condition. I've been through 225,000 cents hand sorting.

Found my 4th IH. Very readable 1899 but the coin has a lot of green to it, so much in fact there is a divot on the neck line. Would/should I clean the green off or leave it alone?

You're kidding, right?

My 2nd $50 bag of cents has yielded another IH cent! It was 2 nights ago. A nice but worn 1907. It weighs in at about 3.0 grams. We (my family & I) are not yet done sorting so we'll post the results of the whole bag soon. Good luck everyone!

Finally finished my bag! Found another IH! A 1906 - had some damage to the edge of it but still very nice! Also found a 1937 George VI (missed a George V by 1 year!!) and 4 "S" cents including a clipped 1969 - not much is missing, but what are the odds of finding a '69 S clipped? Gotta be rare - but worth any $$$? Overall found 27.9% copper, down from 33.5% in previous bag but now my rate to date is 30.2%. Not bad. Will get next $50 next paycheck! Thanks all!
