Just noticed tonight--I think it is new today? Any one else seen it before? When I checked there were a total of two items listed...

Amazing what happens when revenues fall off, listing #'s decline, and layoffs are being planned. Now if we could just get them to lower fees back to a reasonable level.

This category is just in time for the new copper price. Better hurry and get your listings up before the rush.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Let me see if I understand this? If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years hard labor; the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely. If you cross the US border illegally, you get a driver’s license, a social security card, welfare, food stamps, free health care!

Thanks for the eagle eyes kavajava! I can't help but wonder if this development had anything to do with the posters in this thread http://realcent.forumco.com/topic~TOPIC_ID~4064.asp

There is also a new Bullion-Other category for our nickels to go in. This will allow our penny and nickel sellers to place listings right beside the guys selling polished copper bus bars way over spot. Perhaps we can get over melt for a change which could offset the drop in copper prices.

Take a look at this link - there is not only a Copper catagory, but you can search by Copper as a preselected material.

Listed right now accessable to the Canada site:

Copper (57)
Gold (2,051)
Palladium (15) (way less then Copper)
Platinum (93)
Silver (4,481)
Not Specified (670) (many could be copper since you could not specify copper until recently.)

E-Bay should be making money as people scramble for cash and sell off their junk, but instead they decided that they wanted to become more like a regular retailer and less like a flea-market and so they are getting spanked like the rest of the retailers as the economy slows.

Imagine how much money they could be bringing in right now if they lowered their commission on bullion sales to 1-3%. They could be dominating that market, but instead they have almost priced themselves completely out of it.

Noticed this on Canadian ebay.

November 04, 2008 | 11:00AM PST/PT

Here's a small update to our category structure:

We've removed two subcategories under Major Appliances > Ranges & Cooking Appliances > Cooktops to facilitate a test of our new Custom Item Specifics feature.

There will be no more category changes in 2008.
We appreciate your input on how we can make categories better for everyone. Please submit categories suggestions here.

Thanks again to all our members who contribute suggestions!
