I just sorted a $25 box that my mom had picked up in Oklahoma for me this past spring.

Had 72 wheat cents. INcluding a 1917 and a 1918 S.

Best Fed wrapped box I have ever sorted...far as wheats are concerned.

Didn't count the coppers(but seperated them of course.)

"May your percentages ever increase!"

Will buy any quantity of .999 Canadian Nickels at current spot - shipped (US Address).

Picked up 8 Brinks boxes and $16.00 in CWR at one of my banks. Young pretty girls. Asked about dollar coins for my daughter. She said they keep all those for themselves along with silver. She went on to tell me how they are getting silver halves and mercury dimes. These girls are on top of things at this bank. The one girl loaded up the cart and took the 8 boxes out to my van. I sorted 8 boxes and the $16.00 in CWR. yeilded 22.56 %
Asked about a regular order. They said "no problem". Gonna see how many they will order for me every week. Hope the dump bank doesn't shut me down.
There boxes are clear plastic rolls. Thinking about buying dimes and quartes. Should be able to just look at the rolls through the plastic and spot any silver.

You don't have to be the BEST you just have to be.......SLICK

will report numbers latter., but...

i got some cwr at the cu , looked strange, weighed and counted, 12 of 20 were wrong on the counts. got many rolls of 90-99% cu. with all the odds being 83 or 84.

several times in totaling my 1000 stats, got 50%. 86 s mints in one 1000. when it is normal to only get 4-12 per k. then this morning got a 13%cu.

11 Wheat cents 0.44% (nothing of note)
16 Canadian cents 0.64%

Not a bad set of 3 boxes....34.3% 1959-82 Cu cents so I am happy for my first go at it this year.

Box #17; $25 Brinks box. 1 Bermuda penny (1988); 6 s mints ('69(x2), '70(x3), '74) 0.2%; 2 Canadian ('76, '01) 0.1%; 6 wheats ('44, '46, '52d, '53d(x2), '56d) 0.2%; 77 1982 (61 cu 16 zn) 3%; 630 cu 14%; 1,778 zn 71%. A truly horrible box. My lowest cu % ever from a full $25 box, and the smallest number of wheats I've ever found in a box....

Looks like your copper percentages are up a couple of points from the old days. I want to know where you get those monster Brinks boxes.. out here in CA if you get 16 Brinks boxes it is only $400 FV.

Had a little luck at a drive by today. Wasn't even expecting to get any pennies from this bank.. and they asked me if I would like some pennies. I said sure.. (heck, I can never turn down pennies) and the lady asked me how many I wanted. I said "All of them!" She says "no, how many do you really want?" I say "All of them.. at least all that you are willing to give up" She sold me 6 Brinks boxes.. these were the short boxes though.. only $25 in each one.. not the mega boxes c140cessna gets. Seems somebody at this branch ordered too many pennies this week. Hope they start letting that guy do the ordering a lot more in the future.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Let me see if I understand this? If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years hard labor; the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely. If you cross the US border illegally, you get a driver’s license, a social security card, welfare, food stamps, free health care!

Had some more luck on drive bys today. Stopped off at a Wachovia to get some play money out of the ATM since they are owned by Wells Fargo now. Decided to go inside even though I have never had any luck at this branch. They had $12 in pennies, $10 in nickels, 2 Ikes and $60 in a big baggie of half dollars. The Halves yielded a nice 57-D Franklin! Amazing how those things jump out to the experienced eye. They also told me they would be happy to order pennies for me.. Whoohoo, another source bank!!!

Stopped at the WM next door since they seem to be a pretty good source lately. Today they had 37 rolls of dimes, 46 rolls of nickels and 322 rolls of Customer Wrapped Pennies!! Plus, they gave me 4 Free canvas bank bags to haul it all out in. Starting to really like this bank again. Now if I can just get them to order me a hundred boxes of Log Cabin pennies.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
