I found this today;

Silver Delivery "Delays"

http://news.silverseek.com/SilverSeek/1214312789.php

Excerpts;

1.

Powerful interests in the government/banking cartel community do not want the price of silver or gold to rise because this amounts to a fall in the value of debt money around the world. It is visible, undeniable evidence of decades of past monetary inflation.
2.

The amount of promises to deliver silver greatly exceeds the amount of deliverable silver. Shortages of deliverable silver bring the credibility of these promises into severe doubt and may disrupt the market in promises.

So it should be no surprise that rather than silver shortages, today we hear that there are merely “delivery delays”. We are told that this is in NO WAY a shortage, which God Forbid! There is plenty of “tomorrow silver”, just not much “today silver”, as though these were the same thing.

That's why I like picking up my "today" silver.

As member Ponce says "If you don't hold it, you don't own it."

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

+1 on that. I suppose one silver piece in hand is better than the promise of two tomorrow.

I think something like this happened in the past where investors bought several $1000 bags of silver coins and were actually being charged storage for the bags.. and then it turned out the bags were all on paper and did not physically exist.

What a scam. I can't even imagine buying a $1000 bag and then paying someone else to store it for me.

Have someone store it for me? Not be able to touch it, and look at it, and feel it, and.....
oops! I better stop there.
Seriously,
how could anybody get a bag of silver and not want to go over the coins just to see if....
Absolutely unthinkable!

There is nothing wrong with fondling your own silver.

For some reason, I am getting a kick out this scam. I just can't fathom how it worked. Truly, the more unbelievable a scam seems to be, perhaps the more believable it is by the sheeple. I think I'm going to go over the buy/sell/trade and see if I can get someone to buy a $1000 bag and then pay me to hold it for them. :)

Hi,

Morgan-Stanley got busted last year charging people storage fees for the silver their customers bought THAT DIDN'T PHYSICALLY EXIST!

A client of Morgan Stanley had bought 1000 oz bars, and Morgan Stanley was charging him for the storage.

He asked for the exact weight and serial numbers of said bars. (1000 oz COMEX delivery bars don't weigh exactly 1000 oz - but 'close enough for government work'.) Well, Morgan Stanley hemmed and hawwed, and lo and behold...

"Um, that money we've been charging you to store and insure your silver that you bought from us? Well, the silver doesn't exist..."

Chutzpah. Pure, unadulterated chutzpah...

Again kids, the three main rules about buying PM's:

1) Take delivery.
2) Take delivery.
and third, and most importantly,
3) Take delivery.
