I'm going to stick with Bart. I think you can look on the internet for an pictures, and send it to Ardent Listener, and he will make it an avatar. (I think)

I'm big on computers. I even have a computer in my car to do gps, music, surf the net, anything a regular computer can do, except it runs on a car's 12 volts. When I bring it in the house to work on it, I need to use a 12v power supply or a deep cycle battery. My van needs to be plugged in if I dont plan on driving it so that the carputer doesnt drain the battery too much. I love it.

I <3 Linux.

Do you really want to get into why I picked the Indian Head penny as an avatar?

Rich is not owing any money to anybody, and not spending what you haven't got." Robert Ruark

Hehe. Mine is a picture of my carry weapon. What good are all the precious metals in the world if you don't have the lead to protect it?

Deal

I'm so sick over pennies....I frequently trade a dime or two for the whole "take-a-penny" container if sufficient coppers exist. That will get you some odd looks.

I tried to pick something not in use. I failed. I'm a big blowhard anyway, so it fit.

Thank You. It's an HK P2000 SK. Kinda pricey, but worth it.

Who else but a person in Wisconsin would even dare to have the jumping badger?

Here in Wisconsin, we have some of the highest property and gasoline taxes in the US. We're squeezed so much, I have to make my daughter wear penny boxes for shoes. At least she has an endless supply.

Lead is an important part of any PM hoard. I have my fair share of Pb as well.

Lead in the form of ammo is more likely to be worth something in a TSHTF case. Lead can feed and protect you. Gold/silver can't.

"This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the "hidden" confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the statists' antagonism toward the gold standard." Alan Greenspan, 1966.

NotABigDeal,

I figure each 3030 is worth 40-60 lbs of meat. each .22 worth 1-2 lbs .40 SW to protect me, my meat, my loved ones, and my stuff.

I would need a lot of silver/gold to trade ammo away. I need food. I don't really need silver/gold to survive.
