I was wondering if there would be any interest here for a homemade baseball bat? thinking about turning some on the lathe and was wondering if anyone would be interested? I am sure it might depend on price but i am not sure what i would charge yet. let me know here if anyone is interested or just throw some opinions out thanks

Here is a katana sword from solid teak. this was not turned on a lathe but just in there with the bat and i thought i would share

I think I might want one too. I could hang up a bag of penny rolls.. beat the heck out of them with the bat.. then pour the loose coins into one of my Ryedales.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Let me see if I understand this? If you cross the North Korean border illegally, you get 12 years hard labor; the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely. If you cross the US border illegally, you get a driver’s license, a social security card, welfare, food stamps, free health care!

most of them are made out of ash. i made mine out of maple! i can make it out of any but i thought of just making some out of ash so if people wanted to hit with it it would not break. i have never hit with mine b.c of the maple factor. I dont want to tear it up

I may be wrong, but I think the trend in the majors is towards maple (or some other white hardwood), and away from ash.

Can you make one corked... for softball? My companies team got knocked out of the league playoffs by another team using "shaved and rolled" carbon fiber bats this year. It was pretty obvious by the sound the bats made, and by how far some average size guys were CRUSHING the ball.

Sadly, there second basewoman (mixed league) is dating the league chairman, so our protest went no where.... Where trying to recruit her...

The larger one is for crowd control...

I think it is what they would call a shillelagh (shi-lay-lee) in Ireland...if it were painted black, and kept hidden under your coat..

well I dont have any more teak that i can use to build another one so it would have to be out of something else. I know noone is going to want to pay for teak b.c its outrageous. so depending on the wood maybe 75 bucks. there not to to hard
